Free tool

Join audio files. Songs, takes or voice notes, merged into one file, with crossfades.

How it works

01

Add your files

Two or more WAV, MP3, M4A or FLAC files, up to fifteen minutes together. Mixed formats and sample rates are fine.

02

Order and blend

Move each file up or down, then choose a crossfade so one blends into the next, or a short silence between them.

03

Download one file

Listen to the result and save it as a single WAV. Everything happens on your device.

Questions

Can I join files of different formats?
Yes. Each file is decoded by your browser and resampled to 44.1 kHz, so an MP3, a WAV and an M4A can go into the same output. Mono files play on both sides when joined with stereo ones.
What does the crossfade do?
The end of one file fades out while the next fades in over the same seconds, with an equal-power curve so the level doesn't dip in the middle. Use 2–5 seconds for a DJ-style blend, or 0 for a hard cut.
Why is the result a WAV?
WAV is lossless, so joining doesn't add another round of compression. If you need an MP3, the free Audio Trimmer saves MP3 — open the joined file there.
Is there a limit?
Up to 20 files and fifteen minutes in total, so it runs comfortably in a browser tab, phones included.
Is it free, and is my audio uploaded?
Free, with no sign-up. The files are processed inside your browser and never leave your device.

Arranging takes by hand?
Use a timeline.

The SoundGen studio lines clips up on tracks, crossfades them, mixes and masters, and generates new parts in between.
